  1. English is a required language.
  2. Citizens of all nations in the world are eligible.
  3. A student must be enrolled in an HDR course of study at Deakin University whether they are domestic or international in order to qualify for an RTP Stipend, RTP Fees Offset, RTP Allowance, or DUPRS.
  4. An applicant must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth intended to cover HDR fees in order to be eligible for an RTP Fees Offset.
  5. Completion of research project in a related subject comprising a thesis which is equivalent to at least 25% of a year’s full-time study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework with accomplishment of a grade for the project comparable to a Deakin grade of 70% or equivalent.
